Patch Notes - August 18, 2026

Important

Make sure your client is patched using the patcher - this is important to avoid in-game errors and crashes.

⚔️ Battlegrounds

Fix Description
KvM Score Engine The KvM score engine now loads properly after the teams are stacked and before the match starts
Queue Cap The arena cap now counts players already inside the match plus everyone still in queue, so a match can no longer go over its player limit. Leaving a team also no longer sends the team counter negative
Capture the Flag Buffs are no longer wiped after a capture, and both teams are now warped back to their own spawn instead of being pulled through the full arena warp
Party Buffs Party buffs cast on a battleground map now reach every teammate in range, whether or not you are grouped with them
Slim Pitcher Slim Pitcher no longer works on battleground barricades, objectives and flags

⚔️ PvP

Private Arenas

Private Arenas have been added to the PvP Warper in Prontera (156, 195):

  • Choose Private Arena, then Create Private Arena and pick one of five maps - Prontera, Izlude, Payon, Alberta or Morroc.
  • You are given a 6 character code. Anyone who picks Join Private Arena and enters that code is warped straight in.
  • Eight rooms per map, 38 private arenas can run at the same time. If every room on that map is taken you are asked to try another map.
  • A room stays yours for 1 hour. After that it can be handed to the next player who asks for one, and anyone still inside is warped to their save point with a warning first.
  • Same 100 player cap and the same item restrictions as the public arenas.

🎮 Commands

@vendrecap

@vendrecap has been reformatted to include more information:

  • Now shows your shop name, when the shop opened and closed, and your total zeny earned across the whole run.
  • A new View All option lists every item together with each individual sale - buyer name, timestamp and amount.
Change Description
@instanceinfo New command that shows your weekly run count for every instance, tracked both per account and per hardware ID

⚔️ Skills

Party Buff Animations

The animation delay from buffs cast by party members has been removed. The animation still plays for the caster:

  • Covers Angelus, Magnificat, Gloria, Wind Walk, Adrenaline Rush, Full Adrenaline Rush, Weapon Perfection, Over Thrust, Help Angel and the Cash Shop Blessing, Increase AGI and Assumptio.
  • Party members now receive the buff instantly, with just the effect and a floating skill name over their head.
Change Description
Impositio Manus Now grants MATK on top of its ATK bonus: 1% per skill level, up to 5% at level 5. No effect on WoE and GvG castle maps
Mind Breaker Now reduces the target's hard MDEF (the percentage reduction from equipment) everywhere except WoE and GvG castles, where it keeps reducing soft MDEF (the flat reduction from INT) as before. The status icon has been updated either way

👾 Monsters

Change Description
Bio Lab 2 MVP Added an aura for the Bio Lab 2 MVP to match other MVPs
Bio 3 Slave Mini-bosses Slave mini-bosses that spawn from Bio 3 MVPs while under 30% HP no longer grant EXP + item drop chances

🎒 Items

Change Description
Elder Staff Script changes: success chance increased to 50%, and the Elder Staff Artisan dialog now quotes the correct failure chance too
Healing Staff Drop rate from Anubis reduced from 0.50% to 0.35%. Added to Margaretha at a 1% drop rate
Glorious Holy Avenger Now gives a flat +6 INT on top of its existing refine-based INT bonus

Bastion Enchants

Two new Bastion enchants are available from Vulcarion in Veins (223, 133), at 10 Bastion Coins each, same as the existing five:

  • SP Consumption -20%
  • Healing Effectiveness +10% - raises the amount your own healing skills restore.

Both can be removed again by the Master Craftsman in Prontera, and like the other five they are switched off inside WoE and GvG castles.

🏯 WoE

Change Description
Item Block Review All items and card effects have been reviewed for proper blocking within WoE, pre-trans WoE and GvG. Barred items are now enforced automatically when you enter a castle instead of only being blocked at the equip window
Eeyolbriggar (Geffen 2) The outside guild flag now drops returning defenders at (24, 60) instead of (46, 42)
Holy Shadow (Payon 3) The outside guild flag now drops returning defenders at (39, 63) instead of (39, 46)

🎉 Events

Change Description
KoE Rewards King of Emperium rewards are now handed out once per account and once per hardware ID, so alts can no longer collect the same placement twice within the same match

🛠️ Fixes

Fix Description
Pet Evolution Fixed pets refusing to evolve with an "accessory must be unequipped" message when no accessory was actually equipped
Glorious Jamadhar The 20% defense ignore against demi-humans is replaced with a straight +20% critical damage
