Patch Notes - July 21, 2026

Important

Make sure your client is patched using the patcher - this is important to avoid in-game errors and crashes.

🎮 Gameplay

Change Description
Eternal Bastion Weekly Runs Eternal Bastion can now be run 2 times per week (up from 1). All mechanics remain the same
Quick Cooking Cook the same dish 4 times in a row (each within 5 seconds of the last) and Quick Cooking activates, announced in chat. While active, using a cooking kit instantly cooks that dish again with no menu selection, as long as you have the materials. Normal success rates still apply. Waiting more than 5 seconds or cooking a different dish deactivates it
Misty Island Warp Misty Island added to Warpra's dungeon list, with a return Warpra on the island itself
1 Billion Zeny Token Bill Doors in Prontera (100, 253) exchanges 1,000,000,000 zeny for a 1B Zeny Token and back, letting you store zeny above the 2 billion carry cap as an item

⚔️ Skills

Berserk Rework (Lord Knight)

Berserk has been reworked. Core numbers are unchanged (HP x3, +100% damage, ASPD +30%, 5 minute duration, HP drain). What changed:

  • Fly Wing, Novice Fly Wing, and Infinite Fly Wing can now be used while Berserked. All other items remain blocked.
  • You can now chat while Berserked.
  • If Concentration is active when you cast Berserk, it is refreshed and extended to 2.6x its normal duration (Lv5: from 45 to 117 seconds). Concentration now ends when Berserk ends.
  • New visuals: the red body tint is replaced with an aura effect and a cast sound. You can hide the aura on your own character via the Status Color Effect setting.

Monk & Champion Combo SP Costs

Monk and Champion combo skill SP costs have been reduced by roughly half:

Change Description
Status Color Effect "Buff Yellow Effect" renamed to Status Color Effect in @settings for classes with applicable skills. No mechanical change

🎒 Items

Bio Lab 4 Equipment Revamp

Underused Bio Lab 4 equipment received buffs:

Item Changes
Cannon Spear Now also increases Holy Cross damage by 3% per refine
Red Ether Bag LUK +15 added
Mental Stick ASPD +10% added; refine bonuses raised to +15% MATK at +7 and a further +20% at +10 (55% total MATK at +10, up from 35%)
Sura's Rampage At +7 an extra +5% Finger Offensive and Investigate damage, at +10 a further +10% (up to +35% each)
Catapult Reworked - +10% Double Strafe base, an extra +10% DS and +10% ASPD at +7, and a further +20% DS and +10% ASPD at +10 (max +40% DS / +20% ASPD)
Black Wing Base ATK raised from 150 to 180; Back Stab bonus per refine above +5 raised from 2% to 5% (up to +50% total at +10)
Green Whistle / Stem Whip Refine bonuses added - an extra +10% Arrow Vulcan damage at +7 and a further +20% at +10 (up to +60% total)
Dance Shoes ASPD bonus raised from 3% to 5%; the -5 SP cost discount moved from Throw Arrow to Arrow Vulcan

Green Operation Coat Enchants Green Operation Coat added to the Apprentice Craftsman's High Grade Armor stat enchant service in Prontera
Bastion Enchants for All Mid Headgears Bastion enchants (Master Craftsman in Prontera) can now be applied to any headgear that occupies the middle slot, including multi-slot headgears. Previously only mid-slot-only headgears qualified

🏯 WoE & GvG

Change Description
Butterfly Wing Teleport Delay Using a Butterfly Wing, Novice Butterfly Wing, or Infinite Butterfly Wing on GvG maps (including castles during WoE and KoE) now starts a 3 second countdown before you return to your save point, regardless of combat status. This replaces the post-combat save point delay introduced last week
Infinite Butterfly Wing Rules Infinite Butterfly Wing now follows the same rules as regular Butterfly Wings: unusable during duels and on no-return maps
Item Block Review All consumables, items, and card effects have been reviewed for proper blocking within WoE, pre-trans WoE, and PvP arenas
Morocc NPCs Relocated The WoE Information board and the Repairman in Morocc were relocated (now at (225, 65) and (220, 61))

🐾 Pets

Change Description
New Pet: Valkyrie Randgris Valkyrie Randgris now has a chance to drop the Randgris Egg. With its pet accessory equipped, the pet grants +20% physical and magical damage against Dark and Neutral element enemies at Loyal intimacy (+15% at Cordial)
Smaller Follow Egg Sprites Follow pet egg sprites made smaller: Randgris, Orc Hero, Dark Lord, Dark Illusion, Baphomet, Kiel, Gloom
Mute Pets Added a Mute Pets option in @settings that hides all pet talk and emotes for you only. Pets still function normally and other players are unaffected

🛠️ Fixes

Fix Description
String Buf Errors Fixed multiple client-side "String Buf" errors with equipment property actions
Quest Info Verbiage Ongoing quest info displayed for Nidhoggur's Nest and Eternal Bastion updated to reflect proper cooldown verbiage
Muff's Loan Quest Repaired the Muff's Loan quest: a bug caused several NPCs mid-quest to stop responding, dead-ending progress. Dorian's dialogue now correctly asks for 5 Red Gemstones (the amount actually required all along). The final reward is now 1 Old Blue Box + 2 Yggdrasil Seeds (down from 4 seeds)

Change Description
Ghostring Journal (Hard Mode) The Ghostring Journal (Hard mode) has been released. After finding all 64 Little Porings in the Poring Journal, the Ghostring Journal unlocks: 36 Little Ghostrings are hiding on field maps just outside towns. Find them all to receive 50 Summer Fes Coins, 50 Cold Watermelon Juice, and the new Costume Sun Rune Helm by mail. One completion per account
